As we were working on our Fourteenth Edition of The Sewanee Composer’s Project, we heard your cries in the wilderness and heeded your lamentations.

Our Sewanee Composer Project MMVI (that’s Roman for 2006) came out only on CD-ROM and we expected an outcry from our customers that, just recently, learned how to turn on a microwave oven.

“Just give it a try,” we said.

And they did. But there were a few complaints. A lot of folks just wanted to have a book that they could read through.

“It’s too big,” we said. “There’s too much stuff!”

“Too much work! We have to click on every piece, then print it out. It’ll take our secretary all day and she has a hair appointment at eleven. We’re not putting up with this! You’d better figure something out.”

“How about this,” we said. “We’ll still give you the Project on CD-ROM but there will be an option for “One-click” printing. You can print the entire book out with one click! All 280 pages. Or, you can print one anthem at a time.”

“Hmmm...that might work. I can put the whole thing in a notebook.”

“We’ll DO it!” we said.
