The Lessons & Carols classic, here given a new, rhythmically exciting treatment. SATB with organ and optional brass quartet. The zip file contains the version with brass (Trumpet in B-flat, Horn in F, Trombone, and Tuba) and organ. This piece was performed on the Christmas at Belmont television special in 2011. A great piece!

Adam lay ybounden, bounden in a bond,
Four thousand winter thought he not too long;
And all was for an apple, and apple that he took,
As clerkes finden writen, writen in their book.
Ne had the apple taken been, the apple taken been,
Ne had never Our Lady Abeen hevene Queen.
Blessed be the time that apple taken was:

Therefore we moun singen
Deo Gratias!
