quia tu creasti nos, tu redemisti nos
sanguine tuo praetiosissimo.
[Literal translation:
O good Jesus, have mercy on us,
Because you created us, you have redeemed us
With your most precious blood.]
O gentle Jesu, show to us your mercy:
For you have created us,
through you we are redeemed
and are saved by your holy sacrifice.
