Ave Maria
For SAB Choir. Here is a beautiful a cappella piece with interesting chords for your choir to dig into. Easy enough for your small but mighty choir to sound great on during the Advent season: different enough to give the setting of the text a fresh, but elegant, new interpretation. Yes, it's in Latin, but don't let that put you Protestants off. We're all used to singing an Ave Maria now and then, especially when the Mary lessons come up. Use it for candlelight communion, Lessons and Carols (both Advent and Christmas) , Christmas Eve, Fourth Sunday of Advent, or even the Feast of the Annunciation.
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum;
benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Jesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccatoribus,
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee;
