Description: Be Still, and Know That I Am God, composed for our Viva Voce curriculum, is an easily remembered melody written within a range of a fifth. A dance-like minor melody with simple accompaniment, this anthem is perfect for a baptismal Sunday with youngest choristers (K) singing only the refrain and first and second grade choristers singing the entire anthem.

Be still, and know that I am God;
Be still, and know that I am God.

Long before you were formed,
Long before you were born,
I knew your face and called you by name;
My love for you is always the same.

Be still, and know that I am God;
Be still, and know that I am God.

You are made in the image of God;
You are redeemed by my love.
You are made in the image of God;
You are redeemed by my love.

Be still, and know that I am God;
Be still, and know that I am God.
