Morning star, O cheering sight!
Shining in the darkest night!
Jesus mine, in me shine,
Fill my heart with light divine.

Morning star, thy glory bright
Far excels the sun's clear light,
Jesus mine, in me shine,
Fill my heart with light divine.

Morning Star, come now appear,
Light of the world, cast out our fear;
Jesus mine, in me shine,
Fill my heart with light divine.
