Description

SATB Choir - a cappella or doubled with instruments. (C instrument parts provided). This is a wonderful (and mostly unknown) Renaissance motet with a lot of imitation in the voices making it fairly easy to learn and to sing. Complete with a new English translation of the Christmas text - Luke 2:13. In sections with an Alleluia at the end.

And suddenly there was with the angel
a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God and saying:
Glory to God in the highest and on the earth
peace among all who his favor enjoy.
Alleluia!
