Refrain
Sweetest flowers, O come and with a beauteous ring,
Spread your lovely perfumes round your heav’nly King.

Tiny violet, emblem of all modesty,
Show how humble, He is made for you and me.

Lovely lily, emblem of all purity,
He is born of Mary, who is pure as thee.

Little crocus, glowing with all color bright,
See He glows more lovely with a heav’nly light.

Sweetest rose, thou emblem of eternal love,
Thus He draws us all with Him to heav’n above.
