Description

Two-Part Choir and keyboard. EASY! Your choir knows the tune - O Waly Waly. With an optional second part on verse two, and the third verse in canon, you can put this one together in nothing flat. (And sing nothing flat!) And it's "general" enough to be sung anytime. The perfect summer anthem. Mark has used this setting before with a different text - it's effective and quite lovely.

Text from Psalm 138

With grateful heart my thanks I bring,

Before the throne thy praise I sing:

I worship in thy holy place

And praise thee for thy truth and grace.

O Lord, enthroned in glory bright,
Thou reignest in the heav'nly height;
Thy truth and grace together shine
In thy most holy Word divine.

The work thou hast for me begun,
Shall by thy grace be fully done;
For ever mercy dwells with thee;
O Lord, my God, abide with me.
