Mark Schweizer With Heart and Voice

Keyboard [organ/piano], Trumpet(s)
Suggested Uses(s)

SATB and organ, with optional trumpet. The composer's own hymn-tune St. Luke's Seminary; text by Francis Pott.  A hymn of celebration and thanksgiving. Very noble and powerful.  A brief quotation of Old 100th is buried near the end. A great piece for an organ dedication or choir recognition.

Angel voices ever singing,
round thy throne of endless light;
Praise and adoration ringing
Without ceasing, day and night.
Thousands only live to bless thee,
And confess thee Lord of might!

Lord, we know thy love rejoices
Over every work of thine,
Thou did ears, and hands, and voices,
For thy blessed praise combine.
Craftsman's art and music's measure
For thy pleasure did design.

Here, great God, today we render
And present thine own to thee,
Music, word, and praises tender,
To thy holy majesty;
Heart and mind and voice uniting,
In our choicest melody.

Praise God from whom all bessings flow
Praise him all creatures here below
Praise him above, ye heavenly host,
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!

Praise and honor to the Father,
Praise and honor to the Son,
Praise and honor to the Spirit,
Ever Three and Ever One;
In might and glory while ages run.
