Jennifer Stammers

b. 1968

Jennifer Stammers lives in Springfield, Missouri, and is a chorister at St. John’s Episcopal Church. She holds degrees in Journalism and Music Education from Benedictine College, and served as Choirmaster at Trinity Episcopal in Atchison, Kansas, for 26 years. Stammers has led every kind of choir, from elementary to community. She was named Teacher of the Year for the Platte County (MO) School District in 2014, and a finalist for Teacher of the Year in finalist for the St. Joseph (MO) School District in 2018. Stammers joined the Nixa (MO) High School Choral Department in 2020, where she serves as assistant director and accompanist. In addition to teaching, Stammers also serves on the Board of Directors for the Sewanee Church Music Conference.
