Description

SATB and Organ. A marvelous, hauntingly beautiful setting of a chant tune by Peter Abelard (1079-1142). Mystical and ethereal — perfect for Lent, an evening service, or anytime Psalm 91 is read.

Text: Psalm 91:1-2,14-16

All you who abide in the shadow of the Most High,
Will say to the Almighty, "My refuge, in whom I rely."
And those who love Him, and call upon God's name;
Their prayers shall be answered, their honor proclaimed.
In trouble, in danger, their rescue assured;
To show God's salvation, the Day of the Lord.

Low before Him with our praises we fall,
of whom and in Whom, and through Whom are all;

Of Whom the Father; and through Whom the Son,
In whom the Spirit with These ever One.
Amen.
