Terms of Use

Thou shalt carefully read the following Terms and Conditions. Your use of our music by your church, congregation or school implies that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.

Your one-year membership ($159) grants you a license to download and photocopy any and all music on our site for your choir, congregation and/or school. A few pieces may still be under copyright outside the United States. These are clearly marked and if you reside outside the U.S., you are responsible for checking to see if these copyrights are in effect in your location.

You may download sound files (mp3s) and make learning CDs for your choir. Also included are graphics files for bulletins and service leaflets when applicable. All texts included are public domain, property of St James Music Press, or used by permission and your license gives you permission to print these in bulletins and programs as well.

You are certainly allowed to use whatever forces you have on hand and make any changes to the scores for your own use. You are NOT ALLOWED to change the pdfs for redistribution.

THOU SHALT NOT give someone else your password to download scores. The subscription is for YOUR church or school only.

Our servers will notify us if there seems to be abnormal activity from any one account. If your account and password have been highjacked, we'll be happy to reset your account. If we find, however, that you're not following the rules, we reserve the right to terminate your subscription.

PDFs are easily emailed. It is illegal to distribute them without permission of SJMP. We are happy to provide permission for conferences, reading sessions, joint choir concerts, and the like. Just give us a call.

Thou shalt not sub-license, assign, or transfer the subscription to any entity without prior written consent from our company.

Since you can see and hear EVERYTHING on our website when you sign in as a guest, we do not issue refunds once you have subscribed. Please look through our music carefully. We think this is the best deal you'll ever find for great quality church music, but if it's not to your liking, please do not sign up.

You have our permission to record any and all music during regular services. If you are making a CD with your choir for church or school distribution, just let us know what you'd like to record. Usually there is no charge. There are some pieces, however, (RSCM publications for example) for which we do not hold the mechanical rights.

We will use your email address to keep you informed about SJMP, new music, recommendations, your subscription, and whatever other fun we can think of. We shall never give, sell, or distribute any of your information - including your email address. We use Authorize.net and SSL to protect your credit card information. This information is not stored.
