Description

An Italian Baroque composer, virtuoso violinist, and Catholic priest. Vivaldi is recognized as one of the greatest composers of the Baroque era, and his influence during his lifetime was widespread over Europe. He is known mainly for composing innovative instrumental concertos, many of which were written for his students at an orphanage in Venice, as well as sacred choral works and over 40 operas.
