David Jackson was born in York and is a former chorister of York Minster and a music graduate from the University of Durham. As organ scholar at University College, Durham, he released God So Loved The World: A Passiontide Sequence with Lammas Records in February 2006, and directed the choir in winning the best international youth choir award at the Edinburgh Fringe. David is a frequent soloist and conductor of the York Young Soloists. He is currently studying for an MMus as an opera repetiteur at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, having recently worked on performances of Handel's Rinaldo in Glasgow and Edinburgh.
