Description

An English composer, virtuoso lutenist, and skilled singer, Dowland was one of the most famous musicians of his time. He is best known for his melancholy songs such as Flow my teares, which he later adapted in a series of variations for Viol consort under the name Lachrymae, Or seven Teares.
