Instrumental Only?

Two Versions included. SATB, Organ, and C Instrument.
Two-Part (or Unison), Organ, and C Instrument. arr. by Thomas Gibbs. This is a lovely, gentle setting with hints of Adoro te devote worked into an elegant choral piece. A wonderful communion anthem for the day. The recording is of a live performance and is the SATB version, but the Two-Part is just as lovely!

Text by Isaac Watts.

Come, Holy Spirit, heav'nly dove,
with all thy quick'ning pow'rs;
kindle a flame of sacred love
in these cold hearts of ours.

In vain we tune our formal songs,
in vain we strive to rise;
Hosannas languish on our tongues,
and our devotion dies.

And shall we then forever live
at this poor dying rate?
Our love so faint, so cold to thee,
and thine to us so great!

Come, Holy Spirit, heav'nly Dove,
with all thy quick'ning pow'rs;
come, shed abroad a Savior's love,
and that shall kindle ours.
