Jessica is a native Mississippian and holds degrees from Millsaps College and Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, as well as the Colleague Certificate from the American Guild of Organists. She served All Saints' Episcopal Church in Tupelo, MS as organist/choirmaster from 2010-2017 and currently serves as organist/choirmaster of St. Andrew's Episcopal Cathedral in Jackson, MS. She directs the Mississippi Conference on Church Music and Liturgy, which draws participants from all over the United States and from beyond the Episcopal Church. In 2015, she was appointed to the Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music of the Episcopal Church in the United States and also serves on the board of the Leadership Program for Musicians. Jessica has taught on the music faculties of the University of North Alabama and Northeast MS Community College. In her spare time, she composes a little and watches Netflix a lot.
