William Kendrick, keyboardist, is a multi-faceted musician. He taught for 31 years in the Perry Local Schools as a Vocal Music teacher, with most of his career at the Jr. High level. He retired from the district in 1998. Upon retirement, he became a part-time faculty member at the University of Akron, working as an accompanist in the School of Music. He also filled in for a sabbatical leave at Mt. Union University. He also accompanies the Perry High School vocal groups, and occasionally assists in voice sectionals. Mr. Kendrick is currently Parish Musician (Organist-Choirmaster) at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in downtown Canton. He has served at several other area churches, most notably at Zion Lutheran, Canton. He is a frequent organ recitalist in the area. William is a baritone soloist with the Canton Symphony Orchestra Chorus, where he has served as President. He is also keyboardist/arranger for Silver and Strings Trio.
